A amount of personnel at a U.S. Marine Corps foundation on the Japanese island of Okinawa have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, officers say.

The Marines first described the cases at Camp Butler on Thursday, without disclosing accurately how lots of had tested beneficial.

“The persons that have tested beneficial have been moved into isolation,” Marine Corps Installations Pacific said in a statement.

U.S. military services officials also claimed a momentary shelter-in-location was issued for close by Camp Hansen “to allow well being industry experts to facilitate contact tracing and cleansing teams.”

For now, personnel will no extended be authorized to try to eat at restaurants off-base or use non-military services public transportation, among other limitations.
