A further coronavirus shutdown is not out of the question for New Jersey, one of the states most impacted by the pandemic, Gov. Phil Murphy stated Sunday.

“In terms of a shutdown, I don’t foresee it, and I sure as heck really don’t want to go that route,” Murphy reported on “Fox News Sunday.” “I would just beg individuals, specially in the holiday year, … preserve your guard up.”

Murphy has faced criticism from residents for restricted coronavirus restrictions.

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson also joined “Fox Information Sunday.” Arkansas, which has around 1-third of New Jersey’s inhabitants, added 1,349 new coronavirus situations on Saturday, when New Jersey included 3,924, according to NJ.com.
