Back again in December, leaked audio of Tom Cruise ranting about the relevance of COVID-19 basic safety protocols on his “Mission: Extremely hard 7” set went viral.

Now, the 58-calendar year-outdated actor/producer is addressing why he felt it needed to explained. 

“I said what I said,” Cruise told Empire Magazine. “There was a great deal at stake at that stage. But it wasn’t my full crew. I experienced the crew depart the set, and it was just select persons.”

Cruise went on to clarify how filming was “never shut down again” even with the pandemic. “And right here we are, continuing to film.”

On the audio, Cruise can be heard yelling about crew users reportedly not pursuing social distancing rules.

“If I see you do it all over again, you are f–king long gone. And if anybody in this crew does it, that’s it — and you far too and you much too. And you, really don’t you ever f–king do it again,” he claimed. “They are back again there in Hollywood building movies proper now simply because of us. We are making countless numbers of work, you motherf–kers.”
